Goreng Klodok
Ingredients
* 500g very ripe banana
* 1 egg
* 100g sugar
* 150g plain flour
* 1 tsp baking powder
* some oil
* 2 panda leaves (washed, dried well and knotted)
Method
Mash the banana with egg and sugar.
Sieve the flour and baking powder and add in the banana mixture and mix well.
Heat a wok with oil till moderately hot. Fry the pandan leaves to flavour the oil. When the leaves turn slightly brown, remove and discard.
Scoop up banana mixture with one spoon and use another spoon to gently push the mixture into the oil.
Fry until the banana ball is golden brown.
Remove from the oil and drain on metal rack or kitchen paper. Repeat frying process till all banana mixture is used up.
