Pumpkin Rice with Silver Fish

Pumpkin is sweet in flavor, warm in nature and it is related to the channels of the spleen and stomach.

Pumpkin helps to invigorates the spleen and stomach and replenishes qi, removes toxic materials and destroys intestinal parasites, dissolves phlegm and pus, sheds ascarids, relieves inflamation and pains.

Pumpkin nutrient properties are calcium, beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin A & C, zinc, fibre, protein.

Ingredients
* 4 cups of rice
* 4 cups of water
* ½ cup silver fish (rinse and dry)
* 6 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
* ½ pumpkin (skinned and cut into cubes)
* 2 tablespoons of olive oil or cooking oil

Method
Heat oil and fry garlic and silver fish. Add pumpkin. Stir-fry till pumpkin is slightly soft and golden-orange.

Add rice and salt. Stir for one min. Put all ingredients and water into rice cooker and cook.

Serve with vegetable soup or salad.

Served 4 to 6 people.
